SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL

For its opening exhibition, Small is Beautiful, Clavé Fine Art presents a group of small-format works by Alexander Calder, César, Eduardo Chillida, Antoni Clavé, Jean Dubuffet, Yves Klein, Roberto Matta, Joan Miró, Zoran Music, Germaine Richier, Pierre Soulages and Antoni Tàpies.

This exhibition takes perhaps its inspiration from Ernst Beyeler, who three times (in 1954-55, 1967-68 and 1978) organised small-format exhibitions, presenting artworks “as big as they need, and no more”.

Clavé Fine Art reveals at this occasion its new space and displays a selection of sixteen post-war artworks, shedding a light on the greatest of the small.
